Appalachian Artistry

First Art show of the year

My art piece will be shown at the Tamarack Marketplace themed "Appalachian Artistry" The artwork that has been accepted is titled: Voices from the Mines done with Graphite soft pencil

Themed info: West Virginia is home to a rich and tumultuous beauty found only in the age-old hills of the Appalachian Mountains. Along with this beauty comes a cherished history of craft and traditions showcased only in the hearts of Appalachia. In this exhibition, we seek to celebrate the passed-down traditions that have long been practiced in our humble state. From mending to quilting, from basket weaving to carving – we want to showcase the many skilled arts that call this landscape home. Whether you craft or capture the craft, bring your work for this historical show of “Appalachian Artistry”
